Stability and draught survey, checked against your ship's own booklet
Fullaway turns a ship's approved stability booklet into a working loading computer and draught survey tool. Every ship file is run against the booklet's approved loading conditions before it reaches you.

- Area 0°–40°≥ 0.090 m·rad0.223
- Area 30°–40°≥ 0.030 m·rad0.105

Two tools for the decisions made at the loading port
One works out whether the condition is safe to sail. The other works out how much cargo went on board. Both read from the same ship file built from your booklet.
Stability Suite LOADING COMPUTER
Enter tank soundings, cargo and added weights. The suite finds the equilibrium draught and trim, then checks the condition against every criterion your booklet applies.
- Intact stabilityGZ from the booklet's cross curves at the actual trim, IMO A.749 criteria 1–6, weather criterion, and the approved critical GM limit curve as an independent check.
- Longitudinal strengthStill-water shear force and bending moment along the hull, shown against the permissible values as a percentage at each check section.
- Damage stabilitySide damage cases with residual GZ, and the attained subdivision index A against R under SOLAS probabilistic rules.
- Grain and timberGrain heeling moments from the hold geometry under the IMO Grain Code. Timber deck cargo at departure and arrival, with water absorption and icing.
- Tank tableSounding, ullage, volume, SG and free-surface moment per tank, with the booklet's trim and heel corrections. Edit any value and the results follow.
- Displacementt18 642.4
- Draught at midm8.912
- Trim (by stern)m0.418
- GM corrected for FSM≥ critical 0.62 m0.85 m
- Max bending moment% of permissible89.0 %
- Max shear force% of permissible92.8 %
- Weather criterion b/a≥ 1.001.84
Draft Survey CARGO BY DISPLACEMENT
Read the six marks and the tank soundings at the initial and final survey. The tool follows the UN/ECE code procedure step by step and gives the cargo loaded or discharged, with every correction shown.
- Marks to perpendicularsFore, midship and aft readings corrected to the perpendiculars using the draught-mark positions in the ship file.
- Hog and sagQuarter mean
(F + 6M + A) / 8, then the even-keel displacement from the booklet's hydrostatic table. - Trim correctionsFirst trim correction from LCF and TPC, second (Nemoto) correction from dM/dz, and dock-water density.
- DeductiblesBallast, fuel and fresh water from soundings corrected for trim and heel, read through the booklet's sounding tables.
- ConstantLight-ship survey gives the ship's constant. Initial and final surveys give the net cargo figure for the certificate.
- Quarter mean draught7.896 m
- Displacement, corrected for trim17 904.6 t
- Corrected for dock water17 782.4 t
- Less deductibles− 1 236.9 t
- Less light ship + constant− 5 402.0 t
- Cargo on board11 143.5 t
Validation
The booklet is the reference. We measure how close we are.
Each ship file is checked against the approved loading conditions printed in its own booklet. You receive the comparison with the ship, condition by condition.
approved loading conditions re-run across two ship types. Every pass/fail verdict matched the booklet.
worst difference in GM against the booklet's printed value.
worst difference in draught at the perpendiculars in the draught survey check.
worst difference in maximum bending moment, in percent of permissible.
Onboarding a ship
From booklet PDF to a checked ship file
- Send the documentsApproved stability booklet or loading manual, hydrostatic and cross-curve tables, sounding tables, lines plan if available.
- We build the ship fileHydrostatics per trim, KN curves, tank calibrations, lightweight, openings, windage and the criteria set.
- We check itEvery approved condition in the booklet is re-run. Differences are listed quantity by quantity.
- You load the shipUse it on board or in the office. Save conditions and print the report for the master and the terminal.
